Jacek Saryusz-Wolski: Russia declares war on Ukraine

Jacek Saryusz-Wolski, a Polish member of the European Parliament, proposes sending the EU military mission to Ukraine.

“What is going on in Slavyansk is the war declared against Ukraine by Russia,” he said.

According to the MEP, disguised Russian soldiers are involved in the disorders in the Donbass region, censor.net reports.

“In the resolution, which I am preparing for the nearest EP session, we will call to apply the third-phase sanctions, the economic and financial blockade of Russia, and send the EU mission to Ukraine. Soldiers would observe the situation, but would not take part in military operations,” Jacek Saryusz-Wolski says.

The separatists seized administration buildings in Slavyansk yesterday. They continue their actions in several other towns of the Donetsk region. Disorders also take part in Kharkiv. The regional security council in Luhansk and the administration building in Donetsk have been under control of the separatists since the last weekend.
