Vodka prices go up in Belarus

Vodka will cost not less than 45,000 rubles.

The Ministry of Economy has decided to raise minimum prices for spirits, BelaPAN reports.

Minimum sale prices for alcoholic beverages with an alcohol content of 40% were raised by 7,000 rubles to 37,000 rubles per 500 ml. Manufacturers cannot sell alcohol at lower prices.

Spirits will cost at least 45,000 rubles per 500ml in shops. New minimum retail prices will be increased by 7,000 rubles (18.4%).

The minimum sale prices for imported alcoholic beverages with an alcohol content of 40% rose by 20,000 rubles (37%) to 74,000 rubles for 500 ml.
