Pskov lawmaker: There are many Russians in Belarus too

Lev Shlosberg doesn't rule out the possibility of using Russian troops in Belarus and Kazakhstan.

The leader of Pskov regional branch of Yabloko party wrote it in an article published by a local website, PLN.

“Kazakstant keeps silence,” Lev Shlosberg writes. “What if Russia wants to use the Russian minority theme in Northern Kazakhstan, in former Pavlodar region? Why not? We have a precedent. Belarus keeps silence. What if Russia likes the territory of Belarus? Many Russians live there. Why not? They have 6 regions. Today they have Lukashenka, who is close to us, but if it happens to him what happened to Yanukovych?”

Russian troops have occupied most of Crimea's territory for the last week and threaten to enter Ukraine's eastern regions.
