The West should do everything to suppress Moscow's appetite.

The statement was made yesterday ahead of the anniversary of the Smolensk crash by Jaroslaw Kaczynski, the leader of the the Law and Justice party and the brother of former Polish president Lech Kaczynski, the website wPolityce.pl writes.

“We should meet here in a month to show Poland, the entire world and the capital to the east of us, Moscow, that Poland will not bend,” the politician said.

Kaczynski added the West should do everything to lessen Russia's growing appetite.

“My brother warned in 2008 that it would be Georgia first, then Ukraine, the Baltic states and Poland,” he noted.

Russia has been continuing a military operation in Crimea for two weeks.
