Lukashenka has flown to Sochi to support sportsmen and beg for money

The ruler went for the Olympics opening ceremony.

The news comes from Lukashenka’s press-service.

“The president of the Republic of Belarus’ visit to the Russian Federation is starting. By the invitation of the president of Russia Vladimir Putin Aliaksandr Lukashenka will attend the opening ceremony of the XXII Winter Olympic Games in Sochi”, - the message says.

The program of the visit provides for a number of international meetings. Apart from that events are scheduled on the issues of further development of the infrastructure of Belarusian facilities in Sochi and Krasnaya Polyana.

We would remind that many Western politicians refused to go to the Olympics because of human rights violations in Russia.
