The Prime Minister of Lithuania Algirdas Butkevičius says he won't go the Ice Hockey World Championship in Belarus.

“I will most probably not go to the championship, although I am invited, as I will be busy at this time,” the Lithuanian PM said on Thursday in an interview with Ziniu Radijas. Belarus's ambassador to Lithuania officially invited Algirdas Butkevičius last week to attend the Ice Hockey World Championship, which is due in May, as a guest of honour, Interfax reports.

The PM noted he was satisfied with the good economic relations with Belarus and expressed a hope for closer relations. He said he would consider the possibility of visiting the Lithuanian-Belarusian Economic Forum in Mahilou in autumn.
