Milk, kefir, sour cream prices to go up

The Ministry of Economy has approved the new maximum sale prices for dairy products.

It is said in resolution No. 10 of February 14, 2014, published on the National Legal Internet Portal. The document amends the resolution of the Belarusian Ministry of Economy No. 35 of April 26, 2012.

The maximum sale prices for pasteurised cow milk will be 3,075-5,007 rubles per litre (depending on a fat content); prices for kefir of cow milk with a fat content below 3.5% are set at 2,810-5,051 rubles; prices for sour cream with a fat content below 25% will be from 12,352 to 20,091 rubles.

The maximum sale prices for cottage cheese without flavouring agents and fillers with a fat content below 9% are set at 16,232-20,941 per kilogramme.

The maximum sale prices have doubled in comparison with the prices set by the resolution of April 26, 2012.
