EU black-listed Jarmoshyna invited to Iraq

The chairwoman of Belarus’ Central Electoral Commission was invited to take part in observing elections to the Council of Representatives of Iraq.

“On 21 February 2014 a meeting took place of the chairwoman of Belarus’ Central Electoral Commission Lidzija Jarmoshyna, CEC’s secretary Mikalaj Lazavik and ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Iraq to Belarus Haidar Hadi”, - Interfax learnt from Belarus’ CEC on Friday.

At the meeting the ambassador passed the CEC’s chairwoman Jarmoshyna an invitation from Iraq’s High Independent Electoral Commission to take part in observing general elections to the Council of Representatives of the Republic of Iraq scheduled for 30 April 2014.
