Miasnikovich fires deputy health minister

The Belarusian prime minister has made personnel changes in the Healthcare Ministry.

It is said in the resolution of the Council of Ministers of Belarus of February 18.

Henadz Hadavalnikau has been removed from his position as deputy health minister of Belarus – director of the Pharmaceutical Industry Department by mutual agreement (article 37 of the Labour Code of Belarus). Valery Shauchuk has been appointed to the post.

The Healthcare Ministry appeared in news lately in connection with its struggle against imported drugs that led to a deficit of life-saving medicines on the Belarusian market.
