Authorities dream about $850 million from privatization

The Government of Belarus has instructed to form a new list of objects for privatization.

Minsk plans to get at least $850 million from potential investors, AFN reports.

Besides, according to the Decree of the Council of Ministers No. 1238 dated December 24, within one month Regional Executive Committees and the Minsk City Executive Committee must submit to the Ministry of Economy lists of investment projects to attract foreign direct investment in 2015 on a net basis in the amount of not less than $1.875 billion.
