Charter97.org has been informed about that by the press-service of the National Olympic Committee.

“Today a meeting of the executive committee was held in the headquarters of the National Olympic Committee of Belarus. Reshuffle in leadership of the committee was approved. Maxim Ryzhankou has been appointed to the post of the First Vice President of the NOC is with the approval of Belarus’ president Alyaksandr Lukashenka,” the report informs.

We remind that the former First Vice President of the Committee Ihar Rachkouski had sent a letter of resignation due to a great workload in the Ice Hockey Federation of Belarus where he is a chairman.

Maxim Ryzhankou is Lukashenka’s aide on issues of physical training, sports and tourism development.
