Many Belarusians spent hours in queues yesterday.

People tried to buy foreign currency in exchange offices in the morning. Many reserved a place in the queue at night. A 30% fee on purchasing foreign currency made Belarusian rush to stores to buy home appliances and electronics before a price hike in an attempt to convert rubles into something useful.
