Russia to supply 4 divisions of S-300 to Belarus before October 2015

The deliveries are provided for by the appropriate agreement.

Journalists were told about that on December 18 by the Defense Minister of Belarus, Major General Andrei Raukou (Ravkov). As said by the minister, the divisions are to be located in Hrodna, Brest and Polatsk, BelaPAN informs.

Raukou informed that missiles for S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems have already been transported to Belarus, and scheduled operations are carried out at the systems.

In July 2014 it was reported that the Defence Ministry of Russia signed a contract under which anti-aircraft missile systems were to be supplied to Belarus. S-300 are given to Belarus on a free-of-charge basis.
