Demands in Minsk centre to stop Putin

A one-man picket against Russia’s war with Ukraine was held in Kastrychnitskaya Square.

Aleh Korban, the leader of the Alternative initiative, wrote it on Facebook.

“An activist of Alternative held a one-man picket against Putin’s policy and initiating World War III. The picket took place in Minsk at 15:00 today. At 15:12, the activist was detained by riot police officers, who arrived in a minibus,” he wrote.

The detained activist is Aliaksei Shubara.
