Lukashenka underwent knee surgery

The dictator had a knee joint operation.

It was said today by Aliaksandr Lukashenka's spokesperson Natallia Eismant on STV channel, BelTA reports.

“The reason for the surgery was a sports injury he received during an ice hockey training session. The surgery was plnned beforehand, but it didn't seem possible to carry it out earlier due to the President's tight schedule. The President of Belarus feels satisfactory. He is at his countryside residence. The rehabilitation will take 3-4 days. The President performs his duties in full,” the spokesperson said.

The surgery was performed at the republican medical centre owned by the Presidential Property Management Directorate.
