The Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation and Vladimir Krikunov took up the decision to terminate cooperation.

BelTA learnt it from the press service of the federation.

“Chairman of the Belarusian Ice Hockey Federation Igor Rachkovsky held a working meeting with head coach of the national ice hockey team of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Krikunov who asked for resignation in order to join HC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk,” the federation said.

Krikunov reasoned his request pointing that HC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk is going through a bad stretch at the moment. The coach plans to join the team in an attempt to improve its performance.
