Thus he commented on Alexey Miller, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Management Committee (CEO) of Russian energy company Gazprom, statement made on Monday, November 10 in Beijing, informs "Prime".

“Japan authorities did not offer to install a gas pipeline between Japan and Russia, - said the representative of the Department of Natural Resources and Energy. – I may not know the details. But if such important issue has been brought up it would have been discussed on the intergovernmental level. But that haven’t happened.”

It is a reminder that Miller stated that Gazprom discussed a proposal to lay a gas pipeline in Japan. “We have got an offer from Japan. We are talking about gas pipeline to Hokkaido and perhaps to Tokyo, our participation in gas distribution and electric power in Japan. Projects are being considered. We have not given an answer”, he said.
