Concert of Kvartal 95 Studio cancelled in Babruisk

The concert was cancelled allegedly due low ticket sales.

Charter97.org has learnt it from a reader.

“The concert of Kvartal has been cancelled due to ideological reasons,” he wrote.

Charter97.org tried to figure out the official reason for the cancellation. A ticket seller at the Arts Centre in Babruisk says the reason is low ticket sales.

“The concert won't take place, because few tickets were sold,” she said.

The concert in Minsk will be held.

“We have tickets available, the concert was not cancelled,” a ticket seller at the Palace of the Republic said.

Shows of Kvartal 95 comedy group include jokes about the Maidan protests and the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
