Naumov awarded Order of Fatherland, 3rd Class

Lukashenka presented the Order for Fatherland, 3rd Class, to Vladimir Naumov at the event dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the President's Security Service.

He remarked that Vladimir Naumov has done a lot for the IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship. “You remember that he was supervising the fulfillment of my instruction to build Minsk Arena which now beautifies our city when he was Interior Minister,” Lukashenka remarked.

Vladimir Naumov received the award for a big personal contribution to the construction of Minsk Arena, preparation for and hosting of the world championship.

In 1999-2000 Vladimir Naumov worked as Head of the Security Service of the Belarusian President.
