Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Tomasz Orlowski is expected to arrive in Minsk on a working visit on 24 October.

Spokesman for the Belarusian Foreign Ministry Dmitry Mironchik told reporters on 23 October.

The Polish official is due to meet with Deputy Foreign Minister of Belarus Yelena Kupchina. “The parties will discuss the current bilateral cooperation between Belarus and Poland, as well as other themes of mutual interest,” Dmitry Mironchik said.

As was informed earlier, Foreign Minister of Belarus Vladimir Makei paid a working visit to Poland in August 2014 to meet with his Polish counterpart Radoslaw Sikorski. The two ministers spoke in favor of prompt peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian crisis. The parties also agreed to continue contacts and hold a meeting to discuss bilateral relations. Besides, in July 2014 Minsk played host to the 9th meeting of the Belarusian-Polish intergovernmental coordination commission on cross-border cooperation.
