Azarenka draws Johanna Larsson in Australian Open

The tournament will start on the Melbourne Park courts on 13 January to run through 26 January.

World number two and two-time Australian Open champion Victoria Azarenka of Belarus will start her title defence against Johanna Larsson of Sweden (World No.90), following the women’s singles draw of the first Grand Slam of 2014 held in Melbourne on 10 January, BelTA has learnt.

Olga Govortsova of Belarus (91) will meet one of the qualifiers in round one.

Top seed Serena Williams will begin against 17-year-old wildcard Ashleigh Barty of Australia (World No.153).
