Paviel Sieviaryniec: We should fight for Parfiankou

The authorities are taking vengeance on Vasil Parfiankou for the actions under a white-red-white flag, the Square and the protection of Kurapaty.

The co-chairman of the organizational committee for the creation of the party Belarusian Chritstian Democracy Paviel Sieviaryniec, who is serving a punishment for the Square manifestation in the village of Kuplin, commented for the BChD’s press-service on the situation with Vasil Parfiankou:

“Vasil Parfiankou, a political prisoner, democratic activist, was illegally to a so-called activity therapy center. Everyone understands – he was taken not because he drinks, but because he is political. Activity therapy centers are harder than the limitation of freedom in the Belarusian system. It is the same limitation of freedom, plus the constant humiliation and propagandist effect”, - he noted.

“They are taking vengeance on him for the actions under a white-red-white flag, the Square manifestation, the protection of Kurapaty. Lately the Belarusian medicine has been actively used for the punitive purposes – let’s recall doctor Pastnou’s case as the very least. I think, the democratic forces should press for the release of Vasil Parfiankou”, - Paviel Sieviaryniec emphasized.
