Investigation Committee confirmed attack on riot policemen

Mahilyou international department of the Investigation Committee is conducting a check-up.

Riot policeman attacked in Mahilyou, 3 suspects detained.

The riot policemen were not at work and were having a rest at the moment of the attack, official representative of Mahilyou Province investigation Committee Aksana Salyanyuk told Interfax-West.

A conflict occurred between three riot policemen and 3 Mahilyou inhabitants. Three local inhabitants have been detained on suspicion of stabbing people with a knife.

Two riot policemen are in hospital and the third one left after having received medical assistance.
