Journalist Ales Silich detained near Staubcy

The independent journalist made videos on Sunday in Staubcy district, where, according to some data, wholesale deaths of pigs had been registered recently.

The detention happened around 3 p.m. Silich’s mobile phone is switched off. According to the Belarusian Association of Journalists’ press-service, he was taken to a police department in Staubcy.

We would remind that Smalevichy district prosecutor’s office made a warning to Ales recently for cooperating with Belsat TV channel.
