Haidukou's mother denied visit to her son

Volha Haidukova, the mother of a political prisoner, received an official denial from an investigator of the Vitebsk KGB office, who conducts the “spy” case.

She told charter97.org:

“Andrei signed a paper that he had read the case files. It seems that the charge was not changed. If my son read the case, it means that investigative procedures were completed. I don't know if the period of investigation will be prolonged. I usually learn such news from the lawyer, but I haven't talked to him yet. Nothing is clear now, but I think they will extend the investigation period, which expires tomorrow, on May 8.”

The woman said she wasn't allowed to visit her son.

“They promised I could see him after the investigation was finished. I filed an official application, but senior investigator of the Vitebsk KGB office Aleh Barysevich denied the visit. His reply says that the visit is not allowed and proposes to file a complaint if I don't agree. I don't know what to do. It's a bit of a mess with the holidays ahead. I haven't contacted the lawyer yet,” Volha Haidukova said.
