Disabled homeless man beaten and robbed by policeman

Homeless people from Minsk complain about outrageous behaviour of police officers.

Ruslan Nyabukin and Andrei Tikhanau report about abuse of power by policemen. Both are homeless. They live in a shelter at 42 Vaupshasava Street, Nasha Niva newspaper reports.

Ruslan Nyabukim says a policeman once robbed and beat him. The man was stopped by a policeman for a identity check near Mikhalova metro station. After the check, 200,000 rubles disappeared from Ruslan's passport. He asked where the money was, but the policeman grinned ans said” “Forget about it.” Ruslan Nyabukin says the policeman got him out of the metro station to Umanskaya Street and hit him with a baton.
