Mass arrests of ecological activists in Minsk

Officer of the criminal investigation police burst into the flat with ecological activists.

Leader of Ecohome organisation Iryna Sukhiy and activists Siniukhin, Kurlenka and Kanavalau have been detained in a flat in Minsk centre close to the route of the Chernobyl Way march.

They were detained by officers of the criminal investigation police, Viasna human rights centre reports.

All of them were ordered to get into a grey minibus without registration plates.
