Zingeris's car robbed

  • 2.04.2013, 15:35

A member of the Lithuanian parliament has always had a principled position on Lukashenka's dictatorship.

Emanuelis Zingeris, a deputy chair of the Committee on European Affairs and vice president of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, found that a window of his car, which he had parked in Ciurlionis Street in Vilnius centre, was broken and all electronic equipment was stolen.

The politician noted in an interview with charter97.org that the robbery was very strange: There were many “more respectable” cars in the parking lot, but they were not damaged.

It should be reminded that Emanuelis Zingeris is known for his principled position on the Belarusian regime. He has recently said Belarusian officials should not attend the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius until all political prisoners are released unconditionally.
