  • 1.04.2013, 15:01

Prosecution of Good Will (Dobraya volya) international NGO has been resumed.

A new trial over the case of the organisation is held at 10:00 on Monday April 1 in the Supreme Court of Belarus, Yezhednevnik writes.

Good Will was founded on 1998. The organisation focuses on protection of children's rights and especially rights of orphans. In 2011-2012, Good Will revealed irregularities and offences committed by officials from the Ministry of Education in relation to foster families and orphans. In response, a criminal case was initiated against the NGO.

The Supreme Court suspended the activity of Good Will on November 26, 2012, on the ground of two claims from the Ministry of Justice. The organisation was obliged to destroy the issue of envelopes with advertisements and replace the capital letter in the second word of its name with a lower case letter. The demands were fulfilled and the Ministry of Justice was informed about it on January 28. Good Will organisation resumed its activity.

It doesn't seem to last long by all reappearances.
