Robert Tyszkiewicz calls on Poles to hang out white-red-white flags

Member of the Polish Sejm Robert Tyszkiewicz offers to support Belarusians on Freedom Day.

On his Facebook account, he proposed the Polish people to hang out Belarusian national white-red-white flags at home and at work.

“Long live Belarus! The 95th anniversary of proclamation of independence of the Belarusian People's Republic is marked in a week on March 25. It is the symbolic day for Belarusian freedom fighters. I call to support them and hang out a Belarusian white-red-white flag outside your house and at work. It will be a sign of our solidarity with Belarusians,” Robert Tyszkiewicz said on web site Polskie Radio.

The MP is a deputy chairman of the foreign affairs committee of the Polish Sejm and a member of the parliamentary group for relations with Belarus. He belongs to the ruling Civic Platform party.
