Domracheva fails to reach top 10 in sprint race

The 9th stage of the biathlon world cup started in Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia.

6 biathletes presented Belarus in the women's 7,5 km sprint race: Darya Domracheva was only 13th (one miss at fire points), Nadzeya Skardzina - 34th (no misses), Nastassya Dubarezava - 55th (3 misses), Lyudmila Kalinchyk - 58th (one miss), Nadzeya Pisarava - 64th (2 misses), Iryna Kryuko - 79th (2 misses). 82 biathletes participated in the race in total.

Gabriela Soukalová from the Czech Republic won the race - she showed good speed and made no misses at the fire points. Norway's Tora Berger came 8th.
