Minsk city executive committee got scared of Chinese lanterns

The city’s authorities banned launching of Chinese lanterns on St. Valentine’s Day.

Because of the prohibition, the action’s organizers decided to hold it in Druzhny settlement, 30 kilometers away from Minsk, Euroradio reports.

In the evening on 14 February they launched hundreds of heart-shaped Chinese lanterns there. Around 700 people participated despite the event took place outside the capital.
