Minsk Tractor Works establishing assembly plant in Cambodia

Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ) is establishing a joint limited liability company called Belarus Mekong that would run a tractor assembly plant in Cambodia.

Under a Council of Ministers directive, MTZ is to make a non-monetary contribution to the company in the form of its ownership rights to the trademark “Belarus” and secret know-hows, which is valued at $2,310,000, as well as a monetary contribution of $416,327.4 to the authorized capital of the company.
