Strike at Amkodor-Belvar continues

The workers have not been paid in the end.

Yesterday the charter97.org web-site reported that employees of Minsk enterprise Amkodor-Belvar went on strike protesting against the delay in the salary payment and mass staff reduction. The head of the human resources department then disproved the information, but today one of the enterprise’s workers again has reported to our web-site that workers’ protests continue.

“The director general came. There will be no money until the end of the week at best. Workshop heads are trying to talk workers into starting to work”, - he highlighted.

Amkodor-Belvar’s director general refused to comment on the information for the charter97.org web-site.
