Successes of Lukonomy: Potato for every pensioner

  • 8.10.2013, 13:39

The state shifts care of pensioners on school students and their parents.

Charter97.org learnt that teachers of secondary school No. 38 in Homel told pupils to bring 8-10 potatoes “to help pensioners”. Teachers only threw up their hands in response to parents' complaints: “It's an order from above. We were told to do so. We only fulfil the order.”

Parents got used to appeals of school teachers to collect money for repair works, paint, wallpapers, sealing windows and other needs, but the attempt to shift care of pensioners on pupils and their parents can be considered to be another success of “lukonomy”.
