An activist of the National Bolshevik Movement was charged with a “misdemeanour”.

Minsk's Zavadski district court sentenced Dzmitry Paliyenka, who was detained yesterday, to 6 days in a detention centre for a “misdemeanour”, charter97.org has learnt.

Another activist, member of Zmena youth organisation Yahor Vinyatski, is reported to have been detained in Minsk.

We remind that opposition activists are being detained in Minsk preventively. Activist of the civil campaign European Belarus Andrei Molchan and leader of Belarusian National Bolshevik Movement Yauheny Kontush were detained. Police officers are noticed near homes of other activists.

Minsk hosts a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council and a meeting of the CIS Council of Heads of State on October 24-25.
