Oil sector enterprise have faced a catastrophic situation.

Charter97.org learnt it from an employee of the Mozyr deep drilling oil exploration expedition of the republican unitary company Belgeologia.

“It's a catastrophe. Workers receive miserable pay. Many began to quit. Workers and low-level engineers and technicians earn from 3 to 3.5 million rubles, while senior managers have from 10 to 25 million rubles,” he writes.

The company employees says his colleagues and he will work only 2 days a week next month. He supposes the wages will become even lower.

“We will work two days (16 hours) a week starting November 18, 2013. What wage will we have? How will we live? We don't want to receive money, we want to work and earn it. But we have no work. Of course, the management doesn't care. They received 13 million and will have 8 million. But what are we supposed to do if we had 3.5 million and will have 1.6 million? How should we live? They know just one answer – quit,” the worker says.

Charter97.org called the office of the deep drilling oil exploratory expedition. Before giving an answer, the company's representative consulted with bosses for two minutes.

“You know, it is rumours. Maybe it will happen in the future if we have a bad financial situation. But it's only rumours,” she said. The company's representative refused to speak about wages.
