He represented our country at children's Eurovision in 2004 in Norway and took the 14th position. He applied for adults' Eurovision last year but did not make it to the final.

Vauchok decided to celebrate the New Year's Day at home in Mazyr instead of staying in Minsk where he is studying in BSU. He went to an entertainment centre with friends at night. However, his friends quarreled with guys from the nearby club in the morning. Yahor was severely beaten. He came to his senses in an ambulance car. His nose is broken, a few of his teeth were knocked out and his eye is injured. 7 people were injured in that fight.
