Cases of swine flu are reported in Belarus's neighbouring countries.

The virus killed four people in Poland: a man, 50, died in Nowy Targ, two people died in Krakow and one person died in Bielsko Biala, where the outbreak was registered. According to PAP news agency, 16 patients are under medical supervision, many of them are in intensive care units.

At least one case of swine flu was reported in Ukraine some days ago, the press service of the Kyiv city administration informs.

It should be reminded that Belarus had the swine flu epidemic in 2009 and early 2010. The Ministry of Health was hiding the information for several days. Doctors were ordered not to reveal the real number of patients and diagnose patients with ordinary pneumonia.

The authorities finally admitted that 179 people were infected with the virus. Unofficially, the number of infected people was several thousands, more than 100 people died in the epidemic.
