Electoral miracle: 70 votes turned into… 273

The number of voters at a polling station increased in a mystical way.

According to the BPF party’s observer Maryna Kalinouskaya, at the beginning the commission members were calm about the observers’ presence at the polling station №367 in Minsk.

By 11 a.m. the number of people who had voted was 70, the Belsat TV channel reports. However, in some time completely different figures were announced.

“When the OSCE’s observer asked for the official data, the commission members gave the number of 691 people including 418 who had voted early. Which means, according to their data, 273 people must have voted from 8 to 11 a.m.”, - Maryna Kalinouskaya says.

The observers shared this arithmetical paradox with the OSCE mission’s representatives in response to which the chairman of the commission threatened to expel them from the polling station.

At the same polling station observer Aliaksandr Marchanka noticed a group of girls, who were preparing for voting, in his opinion, in a too organized way.

“Having voted they gathered on the porch and in the same organized way went to the polling station 370, which is located nearby, next to the stadium. I told the local observers to meet the “carousel” voters”.
