The constituency commission of Hrodna rural election constituency No. 52 issued a warning to BPF party candidate Alyaksandr Straltsou.

The reason for this step was alleged spreading propaganda materials without imprints.

Vadzim Saranchukou, candidate’s election agent, showed the election commission the documents proving the that materials had been printed legally. Posters and leaflets were printed in Minsk and the printing house received pay from Straltsou’s election fund, but the commission issued a warning, the BPF press service reports.

Alyaksandr Straltsou prepared election materials in three languages of the region – Belarusian, Lithuanian and Polish. The state media refused to print the programme in Polish and Lithuanian referring to the law on languages. Hrodna-based newspaper Perspektiva published his programme in Belarusian.
