Marek Migalski, a Polish member of the European Parliament, sent letters to rectors of Poland’s higher educational institutions.

The MEP proposes to create a special educational programme for Belarusian students and reduce or cancel tuition fees for them, the website migalski.eu informs.

Marek Migalski also turned attention to the fact that the political situation in Belarus continues to deteriorate and that young people have to go abroad as they don’t have opportunities to study or carry out political activity s at home.

The simplification of Polish universities’ admission requirements for Belarusians will express Poland’s solidarity and support for the people of Belarus, the MEP thinks.
