Yarmoshina is afraid of boycott

Chairman of the Central Election Commission Lidia Yarmoshina is convinced that the OSCE's assessment of the "elections" to the "parliament" would be political rather than legal.

"This assessment will be, of course, not legal but political. Everything will depend on how much European politicians will be satisfied with the political situation in Belarus in connection with the "elections" in the post-election period", - said Lydia Yarmoshina in the air of "Belarus-1" on Sunday.

Commenting on the election campaign, Yarmoshyna said that the "elections" "so far are sluggish".

She also noted that people, whose goal is to boycott the “elections”, also participate in the campaign to collect signatures on nomination of candidates for "deputies".

"Some other citizens also participate in this positive campaign of collecting signatures that are pursuing different goals - to disrupt the "elections". Absolutely illegally these public figures join pickets to collect signatures, agitate citizens, and distribute printed materials about the boycott of the "elections", - underlined Yarmoshyna.

Recall that most of the pickets for the boycott of the "parliamentary elections" are being banned, and supporters of the campaign are being repressed.
