CSTO Secretary General Nikolai Bordyuzha believes that sanctions of the West towards Belarus are unjustified and unacceptable.

"Sanctions against Belarus are unjustified and unacceptable, and the restriction of entry to countries - is an anachronism", - said Bordyuzha on Thursday to reporters in Minsk, reports "Interfax".

He also believes that this policy is unreasonable and will not have the result, ensuring that "the CSTO partners will support Belarus".

Referring to the campaign for elections of deputies to the Belarusian "parliament", Bordyuzha said: "I do not think that it will be something extraordinary". In this regard, he explained that "information war with the West isn’t happening for the first time - it is a permanent situation for the country". At the same time, CSTO Secretary General has called "unjustified" criticism of Belarus from the side of the West.
