Alyaksandr Artsybashau, one of Zmena leaders, was released from a detention centre on July 6 after a 15-day term in custody.

He served his term in a detention centre in Minsk for alleged “swearing in public”. The activist claims the arrest was revenge of the authorities for his activity in Zmena youth initiative.

Artsybashau's relatives and friends came to meet him after the release. The young man held a 15-day hunger strike protesting against the unfair judgement delivered by the Tsentralny district court of Minsk, zapraudu.info reports.

Pavel Vinahradau is expected to be released today at 9:30 pm.
