Today elena, the wife of political prisoner Sergey Kavalenka, received a permission for a long-term meeting with her husband in the colony № 19 in Mogilev.

It is planned that the meeting will last three days and will end on July 27. Two teenage children, a son Valentine and a daughter Victoria, came together with Elena to meet with the father, reports "Radio Svaboda".

A permission for a 24-hours meeting received Vitaly, the brother of Sergei Kovalenko, and his father Aliaksadr.

Sergey Kavalenka was sentenced for two years and a month in prison for violation of the order of serving the sentence in the working colony after placing the white-red-white flag on a Christmas tree in Vitebsk. Now he is serving a sentence in the penal colony № 19 in Mogilev.
