The regime has two reasons to pursue Dmitry Dashkevich, even in prison.

So thinks Pavel Sevyarynets, the co-chairman of the organizing committee of the party "Belarusian Christian Democracy", writes BelaPAN.

Recall, a criminal case - "a willful disobedience to the prison administration" - has been initiated against the leader of "Young Front" Dmitry Dashkevich, who is serving a sentence in the colony number 13 in Glubokoje city.

"First of all, - says Pavel Sevyarynets, - Dashkevich still heads the largest and most influential youth movement - "the Young Front". Second, even in prison he behaves himself with dignity and fortitude. The regime is afraid of Dashkevich, and this criminal case shows, how much".

"Dashkevich is absolutely innocent - emphasizes Sevyarynets. - He did not even reach the Square that day. All Belarus knows that arrest of him and Edward Lobov was a provocation. Naturally, in the colony Dmitry refuses to obey unlawful orders. Because of this the innocent man could face another year in prison. Moreover, this was declared on state television on the eve of Dmitry’s birthday. The system simply flies into a rage".

According to Pavel Sevyarynets, "Belarusians should demand freedom for Dmitry Dashkevich by appeals, actions, flags, online-campaigns, or the regime will strangle us one by one".
