Champion of Belarus Zaur Ismailov killed in accident on Minsk ring road

One of the persons killed in the accident on Minsk ring road on April 29 in the evening was a champion of Belarus in wrestling, a native of Azerbaijan Zaur Ismailov.

He was 29. He was in the car with his 43-year-old fellow countryman, BelaPAN was informed by law-enforcing agencies.

We remind that the accident took place at the 48th kiometre of Minsk ring road at 9.05 p.m. a 43-year-old driver of BMW-525 lost control of the car, went off the road at the 48th kilometer of the Ring Road and crashed into a lantern. The driver and his 29-year-old passenger died from injuries at the scene.

As Belarus-1 TV channel informed, in a few minutes about 50 cars with representatives of Azerbaijani expat community arrived to the scene. Police special forces were summoned to maintain order.

There was a theory published on the web that the BMW started a race with some Volvo car.
