Dziyanau's girlfriend gets her computer confiscated on border

Marharyta Lavyshyk, a girlfriend of coordinator of Revolution by Social Networks group Vyachaslau Dziyanau, was taken off train at Brest-Terespol border checkpoint this night.

After a personal search, all information carriers, including a laptop, were confiscated. To her surprise, she was allowed to go after the search and managed to take a train to Polish Teresol, where Vyachaslau Dziyanau was waiting for her.

The arrived to Warsaw successfully.

Marharyta Lavyshyk, a girlfriend of Revolution by Social Networks’ coordinator Vyachaslau Dziyanau, and her friend Krystina Kumeika were accused of swearing yesterday.

The Maskouski district court of Minsk fined Lavyshyk and Kumeika 1.5mn rubles each yesterday for disorderly conduct (article 17.1 of the Code of Administrative Offences).

Human rights activist Loika was able to talk to Lavyshyk only after the trial, which was held behind the closed doors,

We remind that on April 18 five unknown men burst into the flat of the girls. Marharyta was talking on Skype at that moment. She was seized and dragged out of the flat. Throughout a day none of the power ministries admitted that Marharyta had been detained. It is known that her computer was examined thoroughly. All personal correspondence was seized.
