Belarusian MFA reminds of common sense

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus says the evaluation of the situation in Belarus presented by the European Parliament is far from reality.

The resolution on Belarus adopted by the European Parliament confirmed the stereotypical thinking of MEPs. Their evaluation of the situation is biased and far from reality, Interfax-Zapad news agency learned from Belarusian MFA spokesman Andrei Savinykh.

“Unfortunately, we see the stereotyped thinking staying far from reality,” the MFA representative said.

“I'd like to remind the members of the European Parliament the high-sounding declarations cannot replace the common sense. One-sided perception of the reality can delay the need of searching for an algorithm of constructive cooperation, but cannot set it aside,” Savinykh said.
